Apocalyptica does the opposite. I remember when I started playing violin, I toyed with the idea of playing cello, but I didn't want to have to carry a large instrument around with me to performances. Also, violing and flute just make sense together, right?
...anyway, this is proof you can play your favorite rock band's music transcribed to your classical instrument, BUT...if you make it really cool by rolling around on stage playing EPIC solos on your instrument, then yes...CLASSICAL INSTRUMENTS CAN BE COOL!
I hope you check this one out because the performance is so worth checking out, especially if you really like Metallica!

formed in 1993 and still playing. February 2024 they played severall shows in Mexico and summer/autumn europe tour. March 2025 us tour and 2 shows in texas - Dallas and Houston

2024-08-04 15:34:36 +0000 UTC4th memeber with glasses is Antero Manninen, one of the founders of the band. He left band for playing in orchastra, but he returns from time to time. He is known as Mr. Cool. He plays whole concert sitting and stone faced.
