Nemophila - Now I Here

The Patreon suggestions are moving performances this week.

I was told that this was going to show the "softer" side of Nemophila, and I was not disappointed. This was a beautiful experience and the instrumentation was so well performed. The singing...that sent me over the edge.

This song deserves a beer, a comfy chair and a dark room to listen to it in.

Haraguchi-san Haraguchi-san Haraguchi-san! I LOVE the new Nemophila hot take I am NOT the greatest Saki fan, she was ok in Mary's Blood but better in Nemophila. So now she is now no longer part of the Band and the choice to have Haraguchi-san step up more to compensate "LOVE IT". EDIT: reading it back it sounded soooo Bad I am NOT in any way musical, what I was trying to say was she did not fit the sound of Mary's Blood but playing along side Hazuki she was miles better of a fit. Just NOT my favourite guitarist and you don't have to be an expert to have an opinion.

Beautiful. One of my favourite compositions of Nemophyla.

"What is this?" is a fret wrap. It's used for string dampening to control sympathetic resonances. Here, it's pushed up past the nut onto the headstock, so not actually in use. edit: "dampening" lol. I guess in a pinch you could use a wet paper towel... *damping

She will be 34 in October, so almost 40 is kind of a stretch.

This is textbook example of how to write a power ballad for a band with 2 exquisite lead guitarists... I love how they interweave with each other. It takes chemistry to pull off... Saki: Dark brown/bronze guitar with gold glitter. ( The one that you like. ) Hazuki: Tuquoise guitar. ( You've seen her in KOIAI, LISA-X Band ) The band members are best friends so they were pretty much devastated when Saki left. You could see that a part of their heart was torn out in the few videos right after. Saki is now performing as a solo artist ( as the queen that she is ). You can see her recent single here: https://youtu.be/t9mwlHKkLE0?si=zzu-yAPgxIT5cAkE And, yes, she's playing the same guitar in this MV.

Saki plays Killer guitars. Saki is pretty much the female pioneer of Japanese lead guitarists. She is almost 40. She basically held the cards when they formed, and was reluctant to join cause she is a very independent artist. 5 years is a gift. Her leaving would basically the equivalent of one LoveBites guitarists leaving. The remainder will still be great, their sound will just be different. Hazuki is stellar in her own right, and this kinda opens the door for Haraguchi-san on bass and Tamu on drums to feature more. Sad, but exciting at the same time. Good problem to have having too much talent. Speaking of Different, see you there in a minute ๐Ÿ˜

Like Kanami, Saki is always in the right ear (on right, stage left)

The British pronunciation is actually the proper way for the flower, but the Ladies do pronounce it the other way.
