Whenever I listen to Floor sing this song, I feel like she understands its meaning more that Lady Gaga, who wrote it. I'm being biased here, but Floor is a multigenerational singer. I really can't think of anyone who can sing any genre of music, and sound like it was written for them.

This performance has always moved me, often bringing tears. Floor has 2 daughters, Freya and Lucy. As frantaf alluded to, there is a wonderful cover of "Let It Go" she has on her YouTube channel that she did for Freya during lockdown. If your looking for another Nightwish song, "How's The Heart" actually has a few lines that pertain to Floor, Hannes, and Freya. Either the official video, or the acoustic performance from Planet Rock with just Floor and Troy. Maybe both. 😉

Tarja - fired for acting like Diva (open letter from band explaining this is on internet). husband/manager in one person didn´t worked well with rest of the band. And Tarja wanted more time for her solo carer. But she is great singer and made Nightwish popular. 2. Anete - with Anete they changed style, maybe best album is with her, but something didn´t worked well between her and rest of the band and she was fired 3. Floor - Floor was burned out, when her previous bands disbanded and she was teaching singing. The oportunity to join Nightwish and return to stage, came in the right time for her.

Floor has two childrens (something like 5years and 1year old). During pandemic, when she recorded some solo covers she said that older one require to sing Let it go alot:). She was little known in her homeland contry Netherlands, because metal is not exactly most played style there, but this show changed that. She got a lot of new fans thanks to this TV show. Floor Jansen and Beste Zangers 2019: 1.Vilja-Lied for Henk Poort (opera for opera and musical singer) 2.Mama cover of Samantha Steenwijk for her 3.Qué Se Siente cover of Rolf Sanchez song for him 4.Floor Jansen turn to sit on couch and be the one other sing to 5.I Don't Know A Thing About Love cover of Ruben Annink song for him 6.Shallow cover for Emma Heesters as she do cover on yt herself 7.Winner cover of Tim Akkerman song for him 8.duets : Phantom for opera with Henk Poort and Shallow with Tim Akkerman People on couuch are other singers.
