Day in the Life of NittPicc: Bad lighting, Practice Sessions, and teaching!

I can’t wait to turn 65 and be close to my double bass all the time again! I am typically out 17 days at a time. Under 5 years to go now! (Why didn’t I learn a small instrument?)

2024-08-15 20:07:08 +0000 UTCAnother way that you are like Saiki - in the Yokohama Arena documentary in a rehearsal, she had the other members stand right in front of her as she played her upcoming piano part, so it would help her get over being nervous playing in an arena.

When you teach you do more teaching than practicing which bums me out, but I am happy to share knowledge with people, especially my young students. …and yes! I’m always continuing to get better and continue my education. I am always wanting to grow as a human being and musician! ☺️

2024-08-15 15:23:26 +0000 UTCI agree! Recording is difficult. I actually get so nervous to record and post but in order to get over nerves, I have to do it. When I perform live on a stage though, I feel like I am on fire! I just tell people to not tell me if we are recording. 😅
