...you guys were so right. You can hear so much more! The musical effects that Kanami made! Especially the use of Saiki's voice placed within the song. She's always there!
I had a blast listening and having the opportunity to see what really lies beneath and man, was it so worth.

It would be a fun exercise and also showcase Miku's genius in coming up with the vocal parts.

Add to that the fun each of them are having (Kanami’s kick - cute) while playing. Is it any wonder we as fans love them and their music so much! While most songs, not all by any means, could not stand up on just the instrumental music and remain captivating. AMAIDzing!!!!! Thank you as always for an informative and fun reaction.

How many times have you heard Unleash where Kanami has played that lead electronic part? The No God extended intro was awesome (TGT?) except they didn't cut the first part of the track (the ONE TWO THREE FOUR) when they introduced the riff - they should have gone straight in at that point but essentially they reset the song because of the backing track (didn't change it). My point is sometimes they don't necessarily consider the live performance enough when putting the song together (Kanami lovcs to add and add and add) Sometimes/increasingly it seems as if they are merely decorating a backing track. Just a concern, that's all.

We all love, love, love to hear Saiki and Miku singing, but it's also cool to hear everything that is going on underneath those primo vocals. Kanami puts so much into these songs along with contributions and suggestions from her band mates, it's great to strip away the vocals and hear all this brilliance. I definitely think some 3-way comparisons would be a great idea. thanks again for all the fun and love you bring to your videos. You're the best!

Unleash is curiously not the song that produces the most impact when listening to its instrumental version, perhaps due to the prominence of the backing track's accompaniment. The ones that surprised me the most at the time were Domination (pay attention to Akane's footwork) and, of course, Giovanni. I think I speak for everyone if I bet on Giovanni's combo as a future contribution. Kanami has an absolutely monstrous pedal board and there are two or three videos on YT that explain it in detail (my favorites are the ones by Uncle Yoshi and JBF Music & Guitar) so you can expect her to get the most unexpected sounds out of her guitar. Band Maid holds these instrumental versions in high regard (in fact they have been doing it since 2016 when they published YOLO instrumental as part of the single YOLO) and their score books (they are publishing them from Brand New Maid), Kanami carries within her the spirit of a teacher (Kanami Sensei) and wishes that her music inspires others to continue her legacy.
