From what I understand this is a side project of composer and keyboardist, Toumas from Nightwish. His wife, Johanna Kurkela is the singer, Troy Donockley is an Irish multiinstrumentalist and they are both featured in this video. I can't wait to check this one out!

I'm going to be honest with you... I saw the thumbnail for the msuic video, thought it was good nightmare fuel and I am always down for weird, so I picked it. This band has been around since 2006 and is lead by female bassist Margarette Hiroi. Their self-described genre is Progressive, psychedelic, alternative, hard rock, heavy metal...

I can't get enough of the Maids. All of their music is great. Point blank. Period. BUT... I am a sucker for Daydreaming, and I want to hear more ballady type music from them so I was told that this was a good song of theirs to check out, AND because of I happen to have access to Prime and the World Domination tour DVD (thanks again Destiny!) I can see all 3!!!
Again, sorry that I am so late on getting this out.
Also...since I am a sucker for the holidays, happy spooky season! Maybe I'll cosplay in my videos this month. Who knows? 😊

Johana has a beaufifull voice and Troy plays pipes, whistle, Bouzouki, etc. His addition probly influenced the style Nightwish plays in new albums. Troy also did background vocals, but when Marko leave he took position of second singer in Nightwish. AURI - Night 13 is beautifull song about death.

The other one will be a bit wild ;) . Even the band name can be translated a number of different ways. I have seen it done as Pilgrimage to the 88 Temples and Yasohachi Kasho Junrei ... and the song as Brain Music, or Nousoukyoku . As a non-native (remedial) Japanese reader I can't tell you which is really correct .... I can only say I enjoy the music and the odd visuals. Have fun :) . Nightmare fuel may be about right :p .

2024-10-05 15:56:51 +0000 UTCBand-Maid's Epic Narratives album has one song that might beat Day Dreaming... And the lyrics of that song..... Absolutely phenomenal! It's made grown men cry. Song is called "The One". I'm sure Princess Nittpicc will get to it sooner or later... Can't wait for that! Oh, and Miku does something different vocally in that song as well.
