Glad you enjoyed the double length episode to setup the season. Mizore (oboe) and Nozomi (flute) are both second years who came from Minami Junior High School, as did Yuuko (dramatic trumpeter with the bow) and Natsuki (laidback Euphonium). You'll learn about Mizore & Nozomi in this season, but they're still only supporting cast members; whereas in 'Liz & The Blue Bird' they are the leads, so you'll understand them from one angle during the show and get a more in depth nuanced understanding from the movie. Minami is a consistently high achieving school that usually got golds, so for them to only get a silver in their final year before high school caused a lot of upset (per the coach ride flashback post competition). So there was a bunch of motivated & talented first years from Minami & other feeder schools that started at Kitauji High the year before Kumiko, Reina, Hazuki & Midori; only to be met with indifference by most of their upperclassmen. Remembering everyone's names is certainly tricky, but you can tell with the girls what year they're in by the colour of their sailor neckties. New freshmen in each year use the color of previous generation of third year students and they will use that color until their graduation. So for Kumiko's first year at Kitauji, the first years wear red, the second years wear blue and the third years wear green.

True has been the stage name of singer/lyricist Miho Karasawa since 2014 when her career started focusing on anisong. "Dream Solister" was her fourth single as True and the season 2 OP "Soundscape" was her ninth.

And now it's the time of Mizore and Nozomi. We will see soooo much about them in the future. The new opening is from the same band, "True", of the first season opening "Dream Solister". The ending is sung by the four main voice actresses like season 1.
