Reina's face losing her cool demeanor is hilarious. This is somewhat the beginning of Kumiko's path that will be fulfilled in the end. It will be a long road to get there.

2025-06-25 18:58:35 +0000 UTCThere's not much I can add regarding this episode that you've not already discussed in the video, it's a good transitional type chapter that fills in essential backstory in a pretty natural fashion and also sets up lots of things still to come, be they relatively innocuous or wider reaching. I do like the consistent storytelling continuity of the series, in that you don't really get loose ends that are just forgotten about. I am enjoying the fact you're as much of a fan of the vicarious interpersonal drama as the music & performance elements. I kinda liked the fact that Satomi Niiyama's initial appearance & very mildly flirty conversation with Taki-sensei left the usually unflappable Reina blue-screening as well, just for the contrast from the norm.
