Best Seat in the House

When I see both of them on the single seater, I giggle a bit because these two hate sharing anything they sleep on. I have two pet bed in every single room of the house because of this!

Anyway, Jacen has been doing well. If you look closely at this photo you can see the little glucose monitor just under his left shoulder. It’s been really cool to see his blood sugar readings 24/7. The only concerning/funny thing is whenever I am about to eat and he knows food is present, his blood sugar goes up and my alarm goes off. He gets contact highs from me eating…

Boston has had to adjust to a new feeding schedule since Jacen would eat his food occasionally. Boston only eats when he’s hungry. I got lucky that he doesn’t scarf his food down all at once, so ever since I’ve had him he’s always had a self feeder. With this need feeding schedule, the house is much louder now. I hear “boofs” from Boston staring at his food bowl above his crate and new “mroooow” sounds from Jacen when it’s close to feeding time.

It’s music to my ears…💜
