Anyway, we get cute but angry with the vocals. With the information I was given before this reaction, the vocals, music and the lyrics all make sense. You can hear that child-like anger coming from within. The screaming and dysregulated emotions about a boy.
Overall, a great sound and a grat singer!

The only other pre-BabyMetal metal band that springs to mind for me is Aldious formed in 2008 and we probably owe them a tip of the reacting hat here as well. Now that NittPicc has sent the BabyMetal fandom after me with pitchforks and torches, I need to go find my chainmail and asbestos underwear. You can try the DV track "Like I'm not real".

She is talking about a guy who chooses another girl over her. She is "second" to him. You read WAY MORE into the lyrics than I thought you would ... and while I tried not to laugh, watching you wear your heart on your sleeve was entertaining. DAZZLE VISION was one of the few forerunners in the genre "Kawaii Metal" and formed in 2003. They were considered successful with international performances in Taiwan in 2006 and even played Sakura-Con in 2010. Imagine hearing this in the early 2000's and I think you will understand why people found it interesting. I think fans were also drawn in by Maiko's natural beauty with the combination of her brutal screams ... I mean, people were shocked in 2010 by BabyMetal without screams :) . Musically I don't think there was anything too complex here as Maiko's voice is the centerpiece. I feel like I need to apologize for resurrecting some childhood trauma :p . There needs to be a DJ NittPicc concert at some point. Now I am imagining driving down the road and looking over to see the NittPicc screaming show ...
