Hello Familia!

It's spring break for me! One whole week of no teaching for me! WHOO! Although I don't get paid during this time since private lessons don't occur, I cannot complain because I get a whole week of R&R! Sort of... I have plans to do some small house work projects along with doing some recording as well as attending a concert and hosting some family. All in all, it will be relaxing because it is something that I want to do for myself. It's gonna be lovely!

• FREEZER

  • We just started the journey into the "New Beginning" album here on the channel and from what I understand, I've only listened to and reacted 2 songs on this album (I think?) After a fun return to "Thrill" I cannot wait to see what "FREEZER" has in store for me!

• D_Drive - Gradation

  • I was told that this song evokes feelings of happiness even though there aren't any lyrics. There can be many reasons for this theory wise, but besides focusing on the sound I want to see why the title of the song is called "Gradation." Does the song have musical gradation? I can't wait!

• SCANDAL - Departure

  • I feel awful that I have seen this band's name floating around my comments, my discord, in conversations...I don't intentionally try to avoid a band unless there is a good reason to. This band slipped through my reaction cracks for so long and I figured it was time. This reaction is for Patreon only because I was told that this one will get blocked 100% so there eventually will be a reaction for YouTube as well!

• BAND-MAID - Brand-New Road

  • As I open the score to the "Brand New Maid" score today, it feels like we are already getting close to the end of the whole score. This song is in the middle of the book. I am not ready to be through with this book...! Taking a glance at the score, it looks like this song is a slower tempo than what I typically hear from BAND-MAID. I also see a big orchestration. There's a lot of unison playing and then it looks like there's a drop in orchestration later. This really pique's my insterest! I can't wait to peel this one apart like our Gorilla Akane would a concert banana!

  • Bocchi the Rock!

  • Sound! Euphonium

• Guys! We are 2 animes in and I am having a GREAT time! we are getting close to the end of "Bocchi the Rock!" but we just started "Sound! Euphonium." I am loving the growth of the characters in Bocchi, but man...Sound! Euphonium is really taking me back to my high school concert band days!
