I would love to hear more of what Sheiji has to offer. He's got such a gorgeous sound and style and listening to him and Yuki duet back and forth seemed so natural. They had such a lovely "conversation" with each other while Toshi and the drummer kept the track going.
I think how well they played together is what made the joy easy to feel in this song!

2025-03-16 19:31:14 +0000 UTCSUPER-CONGRATS to Yuki who announced she is pregnant with her first child this week! I think of listening to D_Drive much like listening to Asterism with 2 guitars. They are just a super-talented group. It takes a lot of special technique and a certain writing style to write instrumentals that are not boring or repetitive. It hurts my brain to even begin to think about how to tell a story with only music. I still need more cowbell :p .
