My daughter has said the same thing about her students over the last three years, the pandemic wrecked the psyche of the students, a loss of drive and engagement. It's pretty common from what I've read recently. You might want to look at the new series that Band-Maid has the opening and some of the in-episode music - “Rock is a Lady’s Modesty”. They also have been doing the motion capture for the characters (you can find most of the information on r/bandmaid). Last point, ignore the negative comments - not worth your effort to even read them.

You view and give us insights to music from a musician's point of view, which should be of value to any "layperson". We'll, anyway I appreciate you. I just recently purchased the Kessoku Band t-shirt. Will wear it proudly. This episode definitely does have Band-Maid vibes. That's fun.

"El piquito" in the head of anime characters is called "ahoge" in Japan. And yes, Nijika and Seika has the same "dorito" that identifies them as sisters.
