Sound! Euphonium, S.1, Ep. 7 - Crybaby Saxophone

I dive deep into band kid culture here.

This episode cut deep for me.

Also, if you are at all interested in seeing what I do during the marching season (July through October) I have posted a marching band video for you to compare what I do to episode 5 of Sound! Euphonium.

I am going to watch Violet Evergarden soon. I watch psychoterapist reacts and he reacts to Frieren and VE, do that got me intetested in that show.

I am fine with lenght, you have a lot to say and it was made for musicians. I don't watch other reactions except psychoterapist reacts and he has videos around 50 minutes, and there is a lot to talk about in Frieren. But i am tempted to watch new Battlestar Galactica reactions, its my favorite show and i don't saw it in 2025 yet.

I have zero issues with the reaction stretching out to 45 mins, it was pretty clear how engaged you were with the material. I've said it before, but the only way you could be more of this show's ideal target audience is if you were a Japanese teenager, otherwise the story is designed with musicians like yourself in mind. I can kinda understand you choosing to skip the OP to be more succinct, but it wouldn't bother me if you didn't either. As I said on a previous reaction, episodes 8 and 13 of season 1 have different ending music from the rest of the season, so you won't want to skip or turn down those. The rain is mostly animated with minimal CG assistance, KyoAni is one of the respected anime studios for a reason, their attention to detail and quality throughout their productions has given them an entirely justified reputation. Luis mentioned Violet Evergarden which is comfortably my favourite series of all time, every scene is drop dead gorgeous and the story will emotionally break you multiple times. Director Makoto Shinkai's output is also phenomenal with regards to environmental elements and world building as frantaf says; the storylines & themes can be a little more predictable but it looks so good you feel very comfortable giving CoMix Wave Films (the studio he works with) a pass at times.
