I am feeling more energized this week. I have no idea why, but it feels great! Maybe it's because I can see the school year finish line? Who knows!

  • I have attached a flyer to the photos on this post! Check it out if you are interested in hanging out together to watch a movie that also has the MAIDS in it!

• BAND-MAID Sunday:

  • We continue the journey with "Don't Apply the Brake" from our album crawl of "New Beginnings." I already like the name of the song so I cannot wait to hear what it sounds like!

• Junna - Through The Fire and Flames

  • I love watching drummers do their craft. There's something about having to be in control of multiple sounds and techniques that makes me watch them like a hawk. With this reaction, I am excited to watch the powerhouse, Junna, play the song that I used to impress people with on guitar hero in the past. Ha!

• 仮BAND - 侍Groove

  • Not gonna lie, I ran this through translate and it turned out to be "Kari (Temporary?) Band - Samurai Groove." I was told that I would be in for some jazz fusion which I'm ALWAYS here for. Some trivia I was given was they were known for being part of the Kami Band (Baby Metal) from 2014 to 2018!

• BAND-MAID - PRIME! "Zen" behind the scenes!

  • Since I just finished the Brand New Maid score here on Patreon, I wanted to explore some BM P content. BAND-MAID has been putting in the WORK lately for some shows lately, so why not see what antics they got up to!

ANIME REACTIONS!

I have been doing anime reactions on Patreon and have been enjoying the journey with those who are watching with me! Just in case you are interested, here are the shows we are currently watching:

• Sound! Euphonium

  • I have so much to talk about in Sound! Euphonium as a former band kid. The show is pretty darn accurate when it comes to band culture and how we learn music. I've even decided to post a video of the marching band I work with during the school year so you can see what it's like.

• Girls Band Cry

  • I just started this one and I am severely INVESTED! I love the animation style. It felt a little odd at first but MAN. It makes me feel like the show is...real? It's cute. It's funny. It's got great background music. I cannot wait for more!

I am hoping my new found energy lasts for the rest of the school year. I can feel the energy of the kids slowly draining away from work and I can see their dreams of summer. If they only knew that teachers dream of summer too...even though teachers work during the summer. 🫠
