2025-09-01 06:11:02 +0000 UTCAgree that it shouldn't be expected on seniority - However, in this series it seems that the senior Trumpet player was also very committed to the band and practice, so although she's made it I can feel sorry for her not getting the solos parts, and I wonder how that will shake out in the following episodes. p.s. really enjoying watching this through with you - as a piano player who was never involved in a band I have a good understanding of music and orchestras but not at all about the people dynamics etc.
