The Festive Update!

Hello there, Patreon supporters! Today we want to discuss, and share, some information regarding the next event update, and of course the major 11.0 update.

Starting off, let's discuss the Christmas update. As you may have noticed, the automatic holiday props have appeared around the facility but that's not all you can expect this Christmas.

We plan to add a variety of different changes to, not just the facility, but SCP’s, human classes and more. One of these changes is snow falling on the surface zone, as seen in the header image. One of our developers even took it upon themselves to fix the snow error under the tunnel. So to everyone who pointed out that discrepancy, we hope this makes your day better.

The 11.0 Update

Moving towards our next major update, we have the 11.0 update! We know you may have heard rumors of this but we would like to confirm it. This update has been long expected, and something that we’ve wanted to tackle for a while — that being a complete weapon rework!

This is more than just a basic rework of the existing weapons — it is a rework of the entire system. How weapons handle, feel, shoot, and the attachments they have have all been changed... but as we said it's not just the old weapons. You can expect an assortment of brand new weapons, and many new attachments for them. Some of the old weapons may have been upgraded to newer, sparkling versions, or removed completely.

Version 11.0 will also include a number of different, and interesting changes which you can expect to hear about within the upcoming year. For now, thank you once again for supporting Northwood Studios and SCP: Secret Laboratory!
