In other words, there was still a long way to go.
"Okay, let's look for the first village." Lukas walked past the man's body and moved on. He didn't know which way the village was, but he hoped he was going the right way.
Lukas was also curious about the dead guy's friends. Did they leave him behind after he was killed? Or maybe they were dead, and their bodies were somewhere else?
"I hope they are okay. I don't feel like finding someone's head around here." Lukas continued walking for several more long minutes among the trees. He was not attacked once but felt he was being watched.
