You'll see Danneel's character sooner rather than later. Interested to see your reaction to her. Any predictions?

That's a good point about short a time it has actually been. I tend to lose all concept of time when watching this show. lol "There can be compromise it doesn't have to be either or (the whole situation is just reminds you that they are a married teenaged couple who in their minds think everything has to be done right now like most teenagers do only for you to realize when your older that as a teenager you are going to make mistakes while you are just trying to figure things out)." <---- This is very true. Everything does feel very intense and very urgent as a teen. It has to be all or nothing and it has to be now or never. It is good to keep in mind (and I'll try to be better about it ) that they don't yet have the wisdom that comes from making mistakes and learning from them because they're still the "making the mistakes" phase. HAHA about Dan. The 1978 Superman did come up as a request during the last call (not sure if you noticed or remembered). While I haven't seen it (or anything with Christopher Reeve), from what I remember of how he looks, I can definitely see why you would make that comparison. I've heard that he's a great guy and that makes me happy. (It also shows how good an actor he is.) I also really love that so many of the core cast have remained so close. I saw a picture Danneel posted not too long of her and the three other women out celebrating one of their birthdays, and I know they were in Oklahoma a few weeks ago for Sophia's wedding. <3

I think Nathan is pushing Haley to do music because as much as it is mentioned how she changed his life (i.e him gradually becoming a a better person due to wanting to be that guy for Haley) Haley's life has also changed for Nathan. To think in a span of what in the show what was just a few months Haley went from tutoring Nathan to marrying him it is still sometimes wild to think about because that happen in the time span of about more or less 4 months (based on the time of show being Season 1 being the first half of their Junior Year). We saw how Haley was supportive of Nathan last season when he did quit the basketball team and did rejoin the basketball team because Nathan did acknowledge that basketball would be his way of getting a way from Dan but it was also his way of proving he was better than Dan. With Nathan being emancipated and married to Haley he is away from Dan and because basketball season is over his life doesn't have to be about basketball right now so I think that is why he wants Haley to focus on music at the moment. Realistically he doesn't have to attend the basketball camp (even though it would showcase his talents to multiple people) because Nathan still has his Senior year of basketball which means basketball scouts from colleges would start attending the games more often (which is what they do with elite high school players which it has been established Nathan is). All that being said I do think Haley and Nathan can pursue both things at once. Haley can still pursue her music while Nathan is at camp and vice versa. There can be compromise it doesn't have to be either or (the whole situation is just reminds you that they are a married teenaged couple who in their minds think everything has to be done right now like most teenagers do only for you to realize when your older that as a teenager you are going to make mistakes while you are just trying to figure things out). I have to say I enjoyed your comments about Dan's looks this episode lol. Paul Johansson (Dan) looks-wise has always actually reminded of Christopher Reeve (who played Superman in the Superman films from 1978 to 1987) and Paul has actually aged fairly well. As much as I dislike so much of what Dan does he is definitely a good villain. Paul is a great actor but there are times when you see bits of Paul's real life personality shine through (I think in the moments where he is portraying Dan to be sincere/vulnerable). Hilarie Burton (Peyton), Sophia Bush (Brooke), and Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley) have mentioned on their podcast "Drama Queens" that even though Dan was such a villain that Paul himself is such a good guy and was protective over all the girls during the run of the show. In fact to this day one of Paul's closest friends from the show is Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley) and without spoiling any storylines when Haley and Dan do have interactions throughout the run of the show I feel like you do see glimpses of the real life friendship the actors have.
