I mean, I feel like the bait and switch with Lucas accomplished their goal of being surprising, but it was *too* surprising. lol It came out of nowhere and just didn't make sense. And, in case it wasn't obvious it the reaction, I agree with both of your other comments. lol

2022-08-04 21:41:29 +0000 UTCI hate that they baited that Lucas was going to see Peyton and then went with Brucas/Jeyton, that was totally not cool! I'm very disappointed with Haley in this episode, I understand wanting to pursue her career, but the way she went about it is totally wrong, not telling Nathan and running away with a guy who just kissed you? Nuh-huh, that's not the Haley that I love. I honestly don't know why Brooke goes for Felix, she knows what he can be like on his bad days, I wouldn't fall for the sweet words no matter how true they are because she knows the other side of him.

2022-08-04 00:56:01 +0000 UTCI have some/kind of a lot of thoughts about Haley and Nathan this season but I will save them for a few episodes from now lol. I can't say them now because it would be hard explain without it containing spoilers for the next few episodes 😩. For right now I will just say even though Naley is my favorite couple from the entire series I'm actually glad they did have conflict this season. Yes I love the romance of Season 1 Naley but realistically they were going to have some problems after getting married at 16 after only dating just a few months especially if they aren't communicating well with each other (which we've seen they haven't been communicating well). They are going to have to work to become a better couple than they were in season 1 and I'm actually fine that their issues aren't going to be fixed overnight/quickly.
