I agree about Deb, but I think she's silently going through things. You can tell she has regrets about Nathan. Like another thing she's mishandled with him. She definitely wasn't as thrilled as Dan over the decline of Nathan's marriage and showed concern about his feelings. I mean earlier in the season she was plotting with Dan to break them up. She hasn't always put Nathan first. I liked when she picked up the picture of Nathan and Haley and put it back. I know she's older and should have her shit together by now, but I give her the benefit of the doubt like I do the kids because of her circumstances, getting married and becoming a mother before she knew who she was and being married to Dan. She never had time to figure it out. I too wish they would have utilized Karen more, especially since she was already a surrogate mother to Haley, but I guess that woulda been too easy. TV likes drama and likes the characters and the audience to suffer. I did love that scene with Karen and Nathan. Dan stepped up his game this season. He was so diabolical. Keith and Jules were terrible, but Dan sure kept it interesting.
