2022-08-03 21:29:39 +0000 UTCI would say watch the first and second seasons of Torchwood alongside S3 of DW (not necessarily in any strict order at all, I’d just get to the end of both two season by the time you finish S3 - although I appreciate time wise that could be difficult!). Then I would watch Torchwood 3 ‘Children of Earth’ before DW season 4. This is all depending on if you choose to continue that far of course :) Looking forward to you SJA reaction!
