It wasn't really shocking for me because I knew there was no way we were going to lose Brooke so early on in the show. I think even if I were watching this on tv when it first aired, I still wouldn't have been worried. :-/

2022-08-08 22:56:23 +0000 UTCThey both are, but despite Haley acting completely immature and childish at times this season, she is on different maturity level than him, which is understandable because of how they grew up. I think what made them work in season 1 and helped Nathan change was that dynamic. He needs constant level-headed support, which he doesn't get from his parents. Nathan is a lot of work. I think until he gets that support consistently his changes won't stick and he'll keep regressing and won't grow. I love that we are seeing Lucas offering that support. Their bonding is one of the best things about this season.
