Father's Day wasn't released on YouTube. I put out a video on Monday explaining that there wouldn't be any new episodes released on YT this week as I was traveling for most of it. There is actually going to be another update about the channel posted most likely tomorrow.

That makes sense. I did notice they kind of re-do the end of the episode at the beginning of the next one. I only recorded three in this session and, even though I am a binge-watcher nature and a very impatient person, I doubt I'll watch too many of these episodes at once (at least not while the show is in it's current format).

I thought that was a particularly interesting bit of information to get. :)

Btw,did you have YT problems with Father's Day? It seems to have gone.

It's important not to watch too many episodes of Classic Who at once. I generally stick to no more than two at a time; partly to allow the cliffhangers to have an effect, but (more importantly) because television 60 years ago wasn't intended to be binged watched (that term would have been completely unfathomable!). The episodes were designed to be watched 'one per week'. I find that more than two at a time leads to somewhat too much repetition,as characters need to keep reminding themselves (obviously for the audiences benefit) of what they've recently experienced. For the audience, back then,it would have been a week ago - but for us binge-watching it would have been only minutes away.

Yes, the Tardis is supposed to change to fit into its surroundings. It indeed got stuck in the police box form that fit well during the 1963 time period. You will see why it does not do what it is expected to do as you continue to watch
