There are the waterworks! <3 Yeah, Mickey really grew as a character these two episodes, finding his courage. The Doctor wouldn't take him as a companion way back in 1x1, and this arc was really needed for Mickey. I like how the Doctor finally acknowledged it at the end. And at least the show didn't kill him off, he's got a new chance at life, fighting Cybermen in an alternate reality. That's more than most of us get, to be fair. I'm looking forward to your mid-season review!
