To be fair, it's a parallel universe, so that could be one of the changes as well. There's nothing to say they have to be 100% genetically identical. Also, even if they were, it could easily be explained as Mickey/Rickey being genetically bisexual. For one, we don't have anything to completely suggest that Mickey couldn't be bi, and even if we did, that side of his sexuality could easily just be suppressed, or the genes were just never triggered/activated for whatever reason.

2022-06-18 17:44:35 +0000 UTCI’m actually glad they cut the jake scene because if Micky and Ricky are literally genetically identical the idea that they have different sexualities is actually kind of a controversial. It suggests that sexuality is environmental and not genetic. Whether you believe it is entirely genetic or not I feel it was best left out.
