Good reaction. Catherine's acting is fantastic, she gets me crying every time. And sometimes, the Doctor does need someone, if for no other reason than to remind him why he needs to be the best person he can. We could all use someone like that in our lives, yes? And sometimes, the best person for that is someone who doesn't always agree with us. Maybe even pushes back from time to time. I can't wait to see you react to the rest of the season! You asked where the Doctor got the water pistol. You also might remember that he produced a telescope inside the volcano, and of course he once pulled out of his jacket a banana from the groves of Villengard for Captain Jack Harkness. How did he do that? The answer is a very particular Time Lord science developed by Gallifreyan haberdashers: their jacket pockets are bigger on the inside! 😁
