Honestly, I rarely watch all the epis without skipping scenes in rewatches. This watch-along style has forced me to watch the whole thing, so some stuff I had forgotten. The way Lucas handled the Chris Keller incident and the way he treated Brooke was TERRIBLE! What an asshole. One thing was clear in this episode, Brooke deserves better than him. After the way he talked to her this epi and then to take HIM back at the end, girl no. He gaslighted her into believing she did the worst thing in the world and that it was unforgivable and in the end Lucas is the good gracious guy and takes HER back. Her valid issues with him and how he hurt her are now non-existent. Why would someone root for him to be with Brooke or any girl? Or think he's bad for Brooke but good for Peyton? Peyton might have issues, but she deserves better than him too. She had enough of a mess with Nathan and maybe like Nathan she needs someone not a mess. I wasn't really a Jeyton fan, but I can see why ppl rooted for them. Anyway, this season has made me love Nathan and his growth even more. My fav storyline so far this season is the rebuilding of Naley. Nathan and Haley as individuals have come so far since season 1. Their very serious adult relationship has forced them to grow/develop faster than the other characters. Both of them seemed to have learned a lot from season 2.

2022-09-30 05:22:04 +0000 UTCI love Lucas but Definitely agree that Brooke deserve better. Lucas doesn’t deserve her. If you love and care for someone there are better ways to show it especially when you’re not innocent at all. I didn’t think her sleeping with Chris was that deep for him to react the way he did! However I understand it hurts considering he was waiting for Brooke but get over it sir she didn’t do it sober and you wasn’t her man lol but She definitely deserves better then him in my opinion. Them getting back together I was never convinced that she is the one when he said that especially the way he was acting. Like Clara said the cw took advantage of an opportunity with Sophia and chad real life relationship and capitalize on it but other than that it just didn’t feel right in that moment to be happy that they got back together which I can agree with you on that really because of Lucas. Lol naley is back and I appreciate how they didn’t rush them getting back together. Which made it even more better. Love seeing Nathan happy 🥹 as well as Haley!
