I'm definitely way more into fantasy/the supernatural than sci-fi, so I agree with you there. I think I would've liked it more if the witches had been a little less campy, but that fits the show.

2023-01-03 02:38:44 +0000 UTCPersonally, I always really liked this one. While it is over the top, I never felt like it was too much. And I personally love when the show takes supernatural elements and posits them as a form of science. Like the Gelth in The Unquiet Dead, and the Karyonites in this episode. The way I see it, most f the science in Doctor Who is already somewhat flawed, so where's the harm in throwing in some more out there stuff? I just suspend a little disbelief and go with it, and it makes it way more fun. Plus I love fantasy, so that's an extra bonus.
