It makes sense this would be the episode that got you hooked. I'm glad you're more into the serialized part of the show. Most of the time, I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't prefer the MOTW stuff. :-/ I'm impressed you stuck with it long enough to make it to this episode. lol

I had liked previous episodes like 1x03, but with all the backstory that it dropped, I am very much like you that I'm much more serialized fan than Monster of the Week, this episode really got to me and this is the moment that I became a Supernatural fan!
