What's funny is... a well-done villain redemption arc is one of my favorites. I LOVE a good villain redemption arc (I'm thinking of Rowena and Crowley from SPN), and this one definitely fell into the category of a good one. Because there were hints of it along the way. If Vader was actually the character I thought he was going into these movies (THE bad guy who was just evil all the way through), I probably wouldn't have liked it. But, he wasn't. He wasn't what I was expecting at all.

I'm glad that the redemption ark for Vader worked for you, as I know you are not a fan of some redemptions.
