That's really interesting. I wonder if we would've gotten the love story with David if the Doctor had been able to be in this episode. I'm guessing not. π€

2022-08-20 20:48:31 +0000 UTCWilliam Hartnell had sustained an injury while filming the previous episode, which is why he had to be written out of this (he needed a couple of days in hospital). It was a body double that we saw at the very start.
