This remains to this day one of my favorite Torchwood stories, especially in the early ones. This is one that marked the potential of the series for me. I particularly enjoyed it for bringing a deeper side to Jack who was often more of a comic relief in Doctor Who, it's good to see some depth to him, a darker side somewhat, a readiness to do what's necessary.
