On another note, I don't think Peyton is mad or being a bitch to Haley because she cares about her or her relationship with Nathan. If she cared about Haley she would see her little jabs at her are hurting her, but I guess her hurt is more important. Like you said in your post show reaction I think she's taking all of her issues out on Haley, which is undeserved. I mean she's already being a bitch to Ellie, can't that be enough. She's gotta take it out on someone else. I for one wish she was much more understanding, compassionate and sympathetic all around, both with Haley and Ellie. I get she's entitled to her feelings with Ellie I just don't like them. Ellie did what she did. She can't go back and change them. I also get this is in character for Peyton, so I don't hate her for it, but she's acting like a brat imo and if Ellie (and Haley) is reacting to that then I can't fault her for it. What Ellie did was terrible, but it doesn't excuse Peyton talking to her any type of way. I do think Ellie was harsh with her at times, but it was a reaction to Peyton's behavior. Jesus, the woman could be dying and trying to make amends. Have a heart. Anyway, I feel like we are back to season 1 Peyton and the growth she had in season 2 was erased. They love to regress growth in this show, so we will see.

Haley being enough for herself, not Nathan. Everything isn't about him. She gave up music for him, so coming to terms with that makes sense. It was a big part of her life for several months. Now it's not. She chose Nathan, but it doesn't mean she just stopped loving music. Honestly, because of his abandonment issues and her needing to prove that she's not going anywhere it's kind of hard for her to pursue music, at least in the way she did before. Being a Rockstar and going on tours just doesn't seem realistic atm. Their marriage and Nathan just can't handle that. Maybe she needs to love music in another way or just be okay giving it up or putting it on hold. Also, I do not think Haley owes Peyton a "genuine" apology. She's done what she can do. She's definitely not pretending like nothing happened. She's tried reaching out to her, but Peyton just shuts her down. In this epi she told Peyton she looked great and asked if she was talking to her yet. She wasn't aggressive, but Haley is no doormat. If Peyton is being a bitch and being unreasonable, then Haley should react to that. She's like Lucas with Nathan atm, Peyton is being ridiculous. Haley needs to work it out with Nathan, not Peyton. Peyton should stay out of it and support both her friends. Peyton acts like she's a perfect angel and never made a mistake. I like how Brooke is handling it. Peyton to me is not being a very good friend to Haley and it's annoying. Haley did not act like this with her when everything went down in season 1. I also did not care for Brooke's games, but I get it, and it's totally in character. At the end of the day she can't fully open up to him yet and maybe she never can. Her attempting (cuz let's face it we know it's not what she really wants) this whole non-exclusive thing is her way of protecting her heart and not getting too close. What Lucas and Peyton did to her in season 1 runs deep.
