to be completely honest with you i cant watch this two parter it makes me way too upset. i caught the ending and I'm glad that you felt rory's end the way I do, a lot of the time I think people are too numb or shocked or frustrated to fully take it in. similarly to donna's end, any companion/character exit that messes with memory always really really gets me and I also very much appreciated the acting on matt and karen's part in that scene. the doctor looks like he's barely holding it together at the end there.

2022-12-26 00:55:27 +0000 UTCFinally, a story where the Doctor tries to get people to be the best of humanity, and someone fails miserably. I think he handled it as well as he could, to be fair. But real people aren't all idealism, altruism, and sacrifice. I'm glad we got to see that here.
