"Another Ood I failed to save" a rare point of connection to tennant in a pair of seasons that are almost entirely detached from 9 and 10. Also I'm surprised you didn't seem to notice, the "archived control room" was Tennant's room.

James Brooks

"This is when we talked." always gets me.

As a longtime fan of the show, I absolutely adore this episode. The Doctor has always treated the TARDIS as his first, best friend, and seeing them interact on an equal footing gives me all the feels. As some other reactors might say, she held up a mirror to him as no one else could, because she knows him better than anyone else. She brought out the best in him, just as he does for others. The ending always wrecks me, but I have hope because I know that she'll always be there, taking the Doctor wherever he needs to go. 🥰😭🤞

Yeah, I really appreciated that the TARDIS felt he was hers in a similar way to how he felt the TARDIS was his.

I haven't seen any of his things you've mentioned, but The Sandman is a pilot I will definitely be reacting to at some point. I've heard great things and it seems like something I would really like.

I really enjoyed this episode, lots of fun, I liked the way idris was, that the tardis would know some thing & not other things, they way she had trouble with tenses & archived future tardis consoles. I also like the idea that the Tardis feels it stole The Doctor as much as he stole it

Neil Gaimen is a well loved fantasy author. He's known for things like Good Omens, The Sandman, Coraline, American Gods etc He's written a couple of times for DW and I always love it when he does. If you haven't seen any of his other stuff I definitely recommend you check it out!

Rain

This is probably my absolute favorite episode. Somehow I always cry like a baby at the end. Probably because at the end, the whole show is about the Doctor and the TARDIS as the only constants. All they've been trough and all they got to say to each other was within this episode.

Urvaken

Aaaaahh! One of my favs (:

Fycoren

Yes!!!! One of my all time favourites, Matt Smith and Suranne Jones are spectacular in this episode, beautiful and heartbreaking
