Hellllloooo! Finally became a patron today when you posted Forest of the Dead. Because I could NOT wait to see you finish series 4 and see Donna in all her wonderful amazing-ness which often puts her at the top of fans’ companion lists on You Tube. Not just for Ten, but for all Doctors…..aaaaaand, you drove a knife through my heart. 😭😭😭 Seriously, from all the posts and comments and videos I’ve seen over the years, it seems to split somewhere around: 65% of people put Donna as the best companion, because she embodies everything you want and expect from a companion, and her character growth. And 34% (almost all female) say Rose, because they get pulled into the love story and like how strong she was from the start, which is valid. The other 1% can’t choose, because they go back and forth between the two. 99% of fans I’ve seen comment say Martha is underrated and they all really really love her. But I’ve seen exactly 0% of people put her above Donna when it comes down to who is best companion for the Doctor. But if it’s simply your preference of characters, I suppose, everyone likes what they like. I can’t argue with preference. 🤷♀️

2023-12-31 07:46:39 +0000 UTCYeah.... Donna's not dead, she's /worse/ than dead. She's back to being nobody special. The Doctor's soul is revealed: he turns "nobody specials" into weapons. Every companion, even people he just casually meets. That says so much about the Doctor. And when he's not running around time and space corrupting people, he's desperately alone. The "silver lining" is, Rose is still trapped in the parallel universe, but now she's dating a genocidal maniac? OUCH. This one hurts me SO bad.
