This was like last year, so I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not, yet, but the bee thing was actually something from real life. In 2006, began the first mass disappearance of honeybee colonies in North America and Europe. This was caused by Colony Collapse Disorder, in which worker bees abandoned their colonies suddenly. Pesticides had a role to play in this. Of course, Doctor Who gave it their own spin, as you have seen by now.
