Of course, this makes the situation in The Forest of the Dead even more tragic, for her at least. Imagine what must have been going through her head as she cuffed 10.

David Blau

“You, me, handcuffs, must it always end this way?” River isn’t referring to handcuffing the 10th Doctor in “The Forest of the Dead,” because that will happen in her future (his past). So it must refer to handcuff experiences with the Doctor from her past (his future). Naturally, the Doctor has no idea what she is talking about, although it comes across as a flirty innuendo.

I'm glad you're enjoying eleven's physical affection towards amy :,) it's probably my favorite thing about him. To me it does feel very much like the way you would show affection towards a child, like the way he kisses her forehead or pats her on the top of her head.

I always found the difference between how the eleventh doctor expresses anger (as opposed to the other doctors) really interesting. it's less controlled, more explosive I guess. I do really like it from a "character" perspective, especially because of eleven's softer and sweeter energy a lot of the rest of the time, but it makes me so uncomfortable. whenever he yells at river this episode... oh my god leave her alone

So when she asks things like “have you done the crash of the Byzantium” she’s asking about things in her past to find out what he’s experienced so that she can talk freely about the things that aren’t spoilers but avoid the events that he hasn’t experienced yet.

Adam Nisbett

Don’t think this would be considered a spoiler - the journal is her journal so it only contains things she’s experienced and why the Doctor isn’t allowed to see in it since it would have spoilers for him. It doesn’t contain spoilers for her own future from her perspective.
