The concept of all these wars being bunched together on a single map is amazing. The idea that you could be in WW1 and then just a simple walk later you would end up in the American Civil War is crazy and decades ahead of its time. It's the kind of thing you'd expect to find in a video game today! Also, that look of recognition between the Doctor and the War Chief is an amazing moment and a brilliant way to build interest in the following episodes. What could it possibly mean and how do they know each other? This story continues to be amazing at just continually building more and more intrigue by the way the plot continues to develop and seems to grow grander with each episode.
