Itโs really no secret or spoiler so why not tell her? She is expecting them to return as main characters. 6x24 was chad and Hilary final scene together. Sad cause the next chapter of their lives wouldโve been lovely to watch but I get why they chose to leave the show. Season 7,8,9 was simply alright to me. Just my opinion

2023-06-28 20:44:29 +0000 UTCI understand not saying anything before 7x01, but the general audience knew before the start of the season they would not be coming back when the season started. Britany is obv very confused and looking for answers. I'm just clarifying, giving an explanation for the non explanation and saying what the audience knew then at this point in the show. That is not to say they won't be back sometime this season or the next seasons. Honestly, the writing by not saying much, has left that up in the air.

2023-06-28 00:17:10 +0000 UTCHilarie and Chad decided not to renew their contracts after season 6. This doesn't mean they will never come back, so this is not a spoiler about that, but as of now they are not on the show. I only tell you this because the people that were watching the show then already knew they would not return for season 7, which is probably why they didn't go into detail on the show about where they were. They essentially had Peyton and Lucas ride off into the sunset at the end of 6x24. They didn't consider the people who would watch it years later and be really confused. (Like me, lol) Basically, what Miranda said in 7x01 is what happened. Peyton left to focus on her family and daughter. As for Lucas, I suppose he can write from anywhere lol. ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
