I totally agree with your thoughts on this story, the plot didn't make much sense. Like what was the creature? Why was it trying to hurt people? What planet did it come from? Did it go back home when Sarah Jane destroyed the machine? And how does the dad killing it give him power against Darkening? And I assume that all the people, including the dad with his kids, are all ghosts now but that's never explained. And the way Darkening was defeated didn't make much sense either, plus that actor was really OTT and cheesy. 😂 But yet it is still an enjoyable story, there's a lot about it I did like. The scientist guy was really sweet, I liked him a lot. And I loved all the stuff with Clyde and Rani, when he grabbed her I squealed a bit lol. I look forward to next week. It's a story I remember liking a lot. 😊
