Such a FANTASTIC story. As usual with SJA the logistics of it all and the solution was weak, but the amount of heart more than makes up for it. Ellie is a good character. There's not really much I can say about her for now though. But what I can say is that Daniel Anthony, who plays Clyde, was INCREDIBLE in this episode. As we've seen Clyde grow as a character, we've seen Daniel grow as an actor. He was so good in this episode and I really felt all of his emotions. ๐ Also I think it's really important for family shows to tackle big issues such as homelessness. And they did it in such a realistic and empathetic way. I was very impressed by that. Definitely one of the best stories from this show. I can't believe there's only one week left of SJA. ๐ญ๐ญ

2023-09-08 06:18:33 +0000 UTCAlthough not as flashy as Wedding or Death of the Doctor,this is in my Top 5 of SJA stories, simply because of the surprisingly poignant Ellie plotline. Once again,this series addresses issues and subjects that you wouldn't necessarily associate with a kids programme,and it often seemed to do it with greater effectiveness (imo!) than the parent show. Next week will be sad,though. :(
