I have to say I'm pretty much the same as you on this episode. I haven't really rewatched it and in my memory I was like "oooh it's the Tesla episode, I like this one" but then as soon as the Skithra turned up I remembered "oooh it's this episode, I don't like this one." I really loved the Tesla elements but the villain just took me out of this one, and I find myself getting distracted. Not one that I intentially rewatch.

This is one of my favourite episodes from Jodie's era of the show and many other people feel the same way, so I'm not sure why you didn't connect with it. The Skithra were supposed to be like the Racnoss because they're cousins. They maybe should've included that in the episode but yeah, Chris Chiball say that they're related. Also the Skithra queen was played by Anjli Mohindra, who played Rani on The Sarah Jane Adventures, you really can't recognize her in all that makeup lol. And yeah, overall I feel this is a very strong epiosde. All the stuff with Tesla and Eddison is fascinating, I didn't know any of this. And I think the story works well and has a lot of heart. Each to their own of course, but I hope you find a way to love this episode. π€π
