This was broadcast in 1999 - six years before the restart in 2005. It is Steven Moffat's first Doctor Who for TV. 😁 Did you notice companion Emma saying, when Hugh Grant's Doctor died, that he was "never cruel and never cowardly" - she did not say anything about pears tho...
