How To Install Mods for ZZZ

To Keep in mind
Just like the other 3DMigoto tools for other games, YOU WON'T BE BANNED, as usual 3DMigoto does not replace/modify files so their anti-cheat will not activate!

Simply make sure not to show your UID when showcasing the mods to others.

1. Download ZZMI (3DMigoto) here!
Under Releases, hit the version text that has the green 'Latest' next to it

Then hit  "3dmigoto.ZZMI.for.playing.mods.zip" to download it, take the file to an easy-to-access folder and extract it (If you somehow can't extract it, install 7-Zip and use it to extract). DO NOT EXTRACT IT INSIDE THE GAME'S FOLDER.

2. Set up ZZMI
Note: Try launching ZZMI "3DMigoto Loader.exe" FIRST before doing this step!
If the game launches with this pop up message in the bottom corner, you can skip this step!

If it didn't work
Go to your game's instalation folder by opening the game's launcher, click on the button next to "Start game" and hit "Game settings", click on "Open Directory", a window should pop up with your game's executable.

HOLD SHIFT and right click on "ZenlessZoneZero.exe" and hit "Copy as path"

Then, Inside ZZMI's folder, open the d3dx.ini file with notepad.
Scroll down a bit and find the prompt "target =", paste your executable path next to it!

Make sure there are no quotation marks next to your path!
Save the file and close it, then open ZZMI to check if it's working.

3. Install your mods
Find any mod you can install that supports ZZMI either here on my page or on Gamebanana (You'll find some mods meant to be used with another version of 3DMigoto but we're not following that here).
In your ZZMI folder, put your mods inside the "Mods" folder.

Mods' Zip/Rar files have to be extracted, otherwise they won't work
And make sure you have ONLY 1 MOD PER CHARACTER, Otherwise the character will get some visual glitches!

In case the mods are not loading, press F10 to reload them. (This also saves any mod setting such as variants).

4. Enjoy your modded ZZZ!
Remember that you always have to open 3DMigoto Loader.exe to play with mods!
