Status Update - June 2025 (+Next characters teaser)

Sorry it's been quite silent this week quite a bunch has been going on,
nothing bad thankfully, just stuff that took some time off this week.

Before hitting the main point of the post, I wanna put in the air that I am aware that a bunch of my mods require a fix, some of them can be aliviated with scripts/updaters or some changes in their .ini file, ORFix code (like furina), etc. Some need a whole re export like some genshin mods with messed up normals, going through each of them and update every single post is just gonna take a while, I wanted to prioritize the making of new character mods before the end of their banner, making sure that's the best I can do on my time available while dealing with sudden diligences/meetings IRL that just consume that time. With that said, you guys can still report issues or errors (preferably on DMs, I easily miss post comments), there will be a time for the fixes to come but don't expect them to happen quick.
And yes! I still have that promise I made with Caesar, will be made after the characters I mention later in this post are done!

Moving forward

I planned on just keep going and work on the next character(s) but looking at what I had to work with made me realize it was time to do what I had planned for a while.
It's nothing too drastic tbh, I have spent most of this week's time on this bit of a change on the base body model

Why was it needed?
The earlier version of the model looked like it was "perfect" and maybe that was true for the modding usage of these. However, there is someone helping me create a base rig for the animation version of this base model, later to be repurposed for every character I modded so far. I had to make sure that this model when used for NSFW scenarios looked good enough for that purpose... the earlier version did not on this area. It didn't feel right to have an amazing rig on a model with a bottom area that was quite rough compared to other models used in NSFW animations, I don't look to make the model more "realistic" or perfect, having a model 'in its best shape' is enough for me to use it for upcoming projects.

So that's why I did this, doesn't look like a lot but A LOT was indeed done, I retopologized its bottom to hopefully make the limb movement/rigging better and took the chance to model the new "cat", this new bottom unfortunately forced me to make new uv maps for the ENTIRE body and make a whole new texture map, then just redo the rigging/weight painting for the new bottom area. As for the rest just tiny edits here and there, including the nipples. Can't guarantee these changes will be "better" for you guys since that's just subjective opinion.

This should count as an update for the "anim" version of my models, but I still have no release date yet, sorry.

Speaking of cats...

She... WON'T be next, but she will be my playtest for the newly modified base body while I test the rigging on it. So who's the one before?

Cartethyia since her banner is about to be gone, Jufufu and Skirk will still have some time.
