One Piece - I Am A Different Luffy! - Chapter 552 - My One Piece.

[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]
Third Person POV

Dawn Pirates Territory.

...

...

In the end, they returned for the family lunch, staying a total of one hour after they had left.

When they entered the place, there was still food being served by Reiju, who didn’t seem to stop.

“You should rest a little, Reiju.” Luffy said as he approached her, with a worried tone.

“It’s fine, Luffy. I’m ready to fight those old men like we did in Egghead, serving plates for our family is no problem at all.” Reiju said.

“Our family?” Lami commented with an amused tone.

“Tsk.” Reiju just clicked her tongue while Luffy finally found a spot at the table, sitting between his two eldest daughters.

He pulled them onto his thighs while they let out joyful laughs.

“Daddy! The angel woman is so cool!” Luna shouted beside Luffy.

“Yes, daddy! She made wings, like you!” Aurora laughed on the other side of Luffy’s legs, looking at him with an innocent sparkle in her eyes as he returned the comments with a smile full of tenderness.

“Is that true?” Luffy turned his gaze to Elizabeth who was next to Yamato at the corner of the table, Sinbad had returned to Vivi’s lap while he played with a metal car before leaving it to just watch his father.

Elizabeth gave him a long look while Yamato opened a smile with the girl in her lap raising her arms towards him too, wanting to be with her father.

Luffy also saw Hancock sitting next to him calmly, her expression almost indifferent if it weren’t for her blush. She clearly didn’t like Elizabeth for being a tenryuubito, but at least seemed to tolerate her better after Luffy managed to calm her down.

He saw Nojiko smile and Nami narrow her eyes, he could see envy in them for a few seconds.

‘She wants to have children... but knows she’s not ready for that now. Wants to help as much as she can.’

Someone flew over to Yamato and took Nymeria from her mother’s lap and swam through the air to Luffy’s side, landing carefully so her face wouldn’t hit the table.

“Hi, husband.” Shirahoshi said with a happy smile.

“Papa...” Nymeria said with some difficulty while still trying to grab Luffy with her tiny hands.

“Come here, Nymeria, and hello to you too, wife.” Luffy said to Shirahoshi as he released Luna to pick up Nymeria.

“How are you two, Shira?” Luffy asked Shira in the plural while his gaze dropped to her belly.

“I feel like he’s growing... He will be a very strong boy.” She said with a joyful smile, but keeping a certain seriousness and air of royalty.

Long ago Shirahoshi had lost her innocence, the silly and fearful little girl had become a more responsible woman with a very mature aura, she kept a firmer tone and full of wisdom... She truly was fit to rule the sea and her people.

‘Maybe it’s time we start training her power...’ Luffy murmured as he stared at her after kissing Nymeria a few times, making the little girl laugh a lot.

“What are you thinking about?” Shirahoshi asked, feeling those eyes on her.

"Let's talk later, when we return to our trip to Elbaf. I want us to have some time to discuss a few things." Luffy said, and Shirahoshi nodded, seeing a serious glow in Luffy's eyes.

"Alright, husband." She gave a gentle smile.

Luffy saw Lumen escape from Robin's hands and start climbing onto the table.

"Careful, my love." Robin murmured, removing some plates from the front as she watched her son go to his father, seeking the same thing his sisters were doing.

"Let him come now." Luffy said with a smile, watching his son struggle to reach him, crawling. Robin just smiled, saying nothing more.

"Da..." He still couldn't complete it, but he was almost there. It’s not like he could ask for much when the only ones who could speak properly were Luna and Aurora, while Sinbad was starting to learn to use more words, forming short sentences.

Luffy let go of Aurora’s hand and picked up Lumen as soon as he reached him.

"My god... all my kids want my attention." Luffy laughed out loud while everyone looked, and he caught Sinbad's gaze already beginning to want to go to him and leave Vivi's lap.

"I guess I can't stop him, can I?" Vivi murmured as she took the initiative to get up and walk around the table to stand behind Luffy.

Uta and Mikita also approached with the babies in their arms, and the whole table was there, with eyes on him. So many pregnant women were waiting to have these babies and children interacting with their father and siblings.

"You're a true head of the family, Luffy..." Yamato said with a warm smile.

Elizabeth remained silent, lost in her own thoughts, and Nami pouted. Reiju stopped cooking and locked eyes with Luffy like the other pregnant wives. The rest of the women all had a look of longing in their eyes, looking at Luffy while their hands opened into smiles full of love, seeing their daughters and sons around their father, with the last one being placed on his back by Vivi.

Luffy gave a wide smile at this, as he saw himself surrounded by something priceless, something that excited him more than even his adventures at sea... But he had both at that moment, and he couldn’t deny how lucky a man he was, no matter how rich or how many territories he had around him... This was where he was truly happy.

He had a family, and a big one.

They had their problems, but they could always deal with them and live together somehow. It was already working, and it would be like that until the end of their lives as long as everyone remained loyal to him and the family they were building together.

He had nothing left to complain about.

Maybe this was his true One Piece.

“Daddy...” Suddenly Aurora's voice pulled him from his thoughts as his gaze fell on his daughter.

“Yes, sweetie?” He looked at her on one of his thighs.

"You also have wings on your back... are you an angel too?" She asked innocently as Luffy widened his smile.

He spent the whole afternoon canceling anything he had in mind at that moment, all he wanted was to be there, with his children and wives.

When night came, he headed to Alabasta, landing at Vivi’s father's castle.

"Hello." Luffy greeted his father-in-law, who was talking with his advisors at that moment.

"You?!" Cobra rose from his chair before smiling as he looked behind Luffy.

"If you're looking for Vivi and our son, I came alone." Luffy said calmly.

"I see..." Cobra simply looked disheartened.

"Anyway... I'm here to see someone else. I just came to let you know I’m here, after all, we’re all family in the end." Luffy said calmly, crossing his arms in front of Sinbad’s clingy grandfather.

"I know... welcome, Monkey D. Luffy." Cobra said at last, giving him a sincere smile as Luffy looked satisfied. "If you’d like to have dinner with us."

"Thanks. I’ll handle this and plan to return to my family. Either way... I’ll tell Vivi to bring Sinbad here one last time before we leave tomorrow." Luffy said as Cobra nodded happily.

"Then see you later." With that, Luffy turned around and began to leave, using the window itself to jump out. His wings emerged from his back and he flew off.

"I’m an angel... according to my daughters." Luffy said amusedly as he flew upward, spotting someone standing still in the air.

"Hello... Morgans." Luffy stopped some distance from the bird.

"Monkey D. Luffy... we meet again." He said with a wild grin.

"It’s not like I didn’t see you this afternoon, right?" Luffy mocked, making Morgans slightly uneasy.

"You almost killed me..." Morgans said, sounding more cautious after losing his earlier composure.

"I missed... I wanted to kill you..." Luffy scratched his ear as he spoke in a careless tone, while Morgans now looked somewhat terrified.

Luffy then continued. "You know... I know you’re trying to peek into my personal life and I wouldn’t be surprised if you put it in the newspapers... but I’m not going to allow you to keep your eyes on my private life... especially while I’m with my wives intimately..." Luffy began. This guy had been spying on them while he was about to have sex with Hancock, and Luffy simply launched an attack directly at him in the sky—he had nearly killed him, terrifying Morgans as he fled the skies of Wano.

"If you try to spy on any moment with my wives or see them naked... I’ll make your decision to come here to escape the government the worst mistake you could’ve made... Are we clear?" Luffy began with a very dangerous threat.

"Y-yes, of course! I promise I won’t do any of that! I swear!" Morgans said, extremely nervous.

Luffy looked at him for a moment and nodded. "I heard you want to build your newspaper base in my territory. On which island do you want to do that?" Luffy asked, changing the subject and getting to the main reason he wanted to talk with Morgans.

"I would like to set it up in Wano or Dressrosa..." Morgans requested.

"Neither of those places is available for your base. I’ll give you the option of Lulusia, Prodence, or even one of the islands without a kingdom and with few inhabitants. The rest of the islands are not up for negotiation like the two you suggested." Luffy explained.

"I see..." Morgans murmured. Although he had wanted to establish it in those kingdoms, he couldn’t demand too much, so he didn’t complain. "Lulusia sounds like a good place." He said, and Luffy agreed—there wasn’t much on that island that made the kingdom stand out from the others. Having the headquarters of the world’s biggest newspaper there would be a good thing.

"Then welcome to my territory... Whatever you decide to write, try to avoid lies. Even if it’s about our enemies, I prefer the truth..." Luffy said, surprising Morgans.

"And your own newspaper?" He murmured as Luffy raised one of his eyebrows.

"I haven’t written anything but the truth... I’m alerting the world about the World Government without any censorship, and I hope you’ll do the same. There’s no reason to hide information here, especially the kind the government likes to manipulate." Luffy said, and Morgans nodded.

"Alright... thank you for the protection." Morgans said with a more relaxed smile.

"That’s fine... But I also can’t let you leak any sensitive information from my territory. Otherwise, I’ll build a defense system to catch snooping birds. There are certain things I wouldn’t want the World Government to find out. If you get my meaning." Luffy said, and Morgans nodded despite the chill the trap statement gave him.

"Of course. I’ll do that." Morgans said, and Luffy nodded.

"Now... I need some information. I’m looking for a rather weak crew, I haven’t contacted my intelligence and information network yet... but I want to know if you’ve heard about them..." Luffy began, describing that group that was supposedly so weak no one really paid attention to them, but they had done outrageous things like pretending to be the Straw Hats in Sabaody.

With that, Luffy said his goodbyes and returned to his family. He even thought about simply capturing them that very night, but decided to leave it to his fleet while he stayed there, enjoying the remaining time with his family and the rest of his friends.
