Third Person POV
Romania.
...
...
âThose bastards, they think they can try something with my daughter and get away with it like that?!â
An angry voice said in the middle of the table where a group of people were having dinner together.
Severus Snape was among them, eating in silence while deep in thought.
Rosaria was beside him, eating as well.
In front of the two sat a woman with white hair and red eyes alongside another man, looking like an aristocrat from two centuries ago, both were vampires.
The woman stared at Severus and Rosaria with a suspicious look, while the man kept his gaze fixed on Severus, who didnât care about their stares.
At the head of the table, the one who had spoken earlier, was none other than Dracula Valenstein.
Furious with the newspapers in front of him, he had stopped eating to voice his dissatisfaction with the current situation.
Severus had somehow agreed to go to Transylvania with Rosaria, while he could think about what to do without all the persecution against him in Great Britain.
It can be said that it wasnât an easy meeting, when Rosaria returned home with the man who had invaded the castle months ago and fought against Dracula himself, leaving a trail of chaos throughout the place.
Dracula immediately wanted revenge on the guy coming with Rosaria after she had simply ignored all his requests to investigate Severus. She didnât report anything significant, seeming to be going to England on vacation with a boyfriend.
He felt irritated and even disappointed that his daughter seemed to be distancing herself from him for another man.
But when he looked at Severus properly, he dropped the idea as soon as he noticed his current power, shocked that Severus was at least three times more powerful than before.
He couldnât feel his magic, but all his instincts told him this human was a great danger, and facing him would only result in his own death.
He wondered for a moment, since he knew the human had grown stronger, but that level... no one in this world should have so much power or come close to it. He had never seen anyone like that in his long life.
He did nothing, but looked at Severus with suspicion, and his suspicion soon turned into anger toward the British Ministry of Magic, trying to force his daughterâthis was an attack on his family.
In the end, Severus stayed there for a few days with Rosaria, and Dracula called his other daughter, since he needed to know what to do, while this latter and her husband kept watching Severus with suspicion the entire time.
Severus, despite receiving that suspicion, didnât care.
Dracula seemed cautious with him, while they exchanged only a few words during those days.
âWhat are you going to do, daddy?â Rosaria asked, looking at him after eating.
âWeâre going to attack England.â He said angrily.
âThat sounds a bit reckless.â
Everyone looked at Severus, who had just said that.
âYouâre saying itâs reckless for my father to want retaliation, human?â Rosariaâs sister growled.
âWait, Milicia. I donât want you to be hostile to my guest.â Dracula said seriously and looked at Severus.
âWhat do you plan, then?â
âSending a group of vampires will cause chaos and hurt innocent people, I canât let that happen.â
Severus spoke in a serious tone, while Milicia found it absurd that the human spoke like that to the king of vampires.
The same could be said of her husband, who began showing his teeth to Snape.
They had no idea how powerful Severus had become.
âStop it!â
Rosaria said directly to her sister and her companion, not out of fear that they would hurt Severus, but for their own good.
Severus ignored everyone and turned back to Dracula.
âI canât have the life I once had, but I still have unfinished business in England. Itâs time I destroy Voldemort once and for all. And I intend to retaliate against all those who tried to hurt others to get to me.â
He spoke in a dark tone that seemed to swallow even a bit of the light in the room.
âI wonât harm people, but I want that Minister of Magic. I wonât let him walk away after trying something with my little girl.â He said.
âFather...â Rosaria murmured, still seeming to be treated like a child.
âI will seek my revenge and no one can take that from me, Mr. Snape. I hope youâll leave him to me.â Dracula said.
âAlright.â Severus replied.
âYouâre leaving then?â Rosaria asked Severus with concern.
âYes... Iâve spent too much time outside the country... itâs time to end this once and for all.â Severus said.
âCan I come with you?â Rosaria asked.
âThis is something I must do alone.â Snape replied seriously.
âI understand...â Rosaria didnât insist.
âWeâll see each other after itâs all over.â Severus said.
âYes...â She murmured, still looking at him with uncertainty.
âWell... Iâll be going. I wonât go after the Minister, Iâll leave him to you then.â Severus began to rise from the table, finishing his meal as Dracula nodded.
âGreat. Then weâll see each other in England.â The man said as Snape summoned his phoenix, disappearing in purple flames a moment later.
âFather... why did you let him speak to you like that? How could you accept him back into your home after all the mess he caused? And Rosaria, why are you behaving like a girl in love with that human?!â
Milicia immediately began grumbling about all of it, not believing how much things had changed.
âYou donât understand, Milicia... He not only saved Rosaria, but heâs also involved in several events happening in England. And I must admit... he is more powerful than I am.â Dracula said, wiping his mouth with a napkin.
âWhat?! That canât be possible, heâs just a human with some dark aura because heâs a wizard who practices dark magic!â She grumbled.
âNo... heâs stronger than daddy...â Rosaria said. âBesides, he uses a different kind of magic and heâs getting stronger and stronger, thatâs why itâs not rational to go against him, Milicia. For your own good.â She told her older sister.
âWhat nonsense is that, Rosaria...â Milicia growled.
âHis magic is different from anything ever recorded, you may not have read the papers about him, but heâs a kind of necromancer and is constantly entering places full of monsters, like spaces separated from our world in paintings, I donât know how to explain it... and he already has an army of monsters in shadow form at his feet.â She spoke seriously.
âI noticed...â Dracula said. âAt first, I thought I was imagining things, but soon I realized Severus carries a multitude with himâand they are dangerous beings... Can that man turn all his enemies into his own servants after death?â Dracula asked his daughter.
âYes... Most of those he killed are now his shadows. I saw him do it with monsters and dark wizards, even Death Eaters, who are the inner circle dark wizards of Englandâs Dark Lord.â Rosaria explained.
âNecromancer?â Miliciaâs husband looked surprised. He had known a few in his hundreds of years, but this one seemed to surpass them all.
âWell... I donât want to be an enemy of a human like that. Iâm lucky that, even though you didnât report anything about him, you ended up forming a bond with Severus Snape.â Dracula said as he rose from the table.
âAnyway... itâs time for us to prepare. If you want to go to England with me, thatâs fine. After all, we have a Minister of Magic who clearly doesnât understand the terror that comes with messing with the family of the most powerful vampire in the world.â
Dracula finished as his daughters nodded.
âLetâs get ready.â
Already in England.
Severus returned to the Room of Requirement. As he sighed, he found himself back in the place where he should already have been expelled from after everything that had happened, but also the safest place for him at the moment without hundreds of Aurors swarming around him like flies.
âMaster Snape!!â
It was then that Dobby appeared quickly before Severus.
âHello, Dobby. How are things?â Severus said with a small smile.
âDobby heard that Master is being considered a criminal in the magical world! But Dobby believes Master is not that kind of person. Dobby is very worried!â He said with teary eyes.
âIâve done things many consider terrible, while I reaped many lives in the process. I donât regret it, but no one likes having someone out there who can kill over a hundred people without much difficulty.â
Severus spoke in a calm tone.
âMaster Snape...â Dobby murmured as Severus turned his attention to the other house-elf nearby, as Genini watched him from a distance.
Rosaria had placed her alongside Dobby at Severusâs request after seeing her starting to improve, saying sheâd be fine soon and should be placed with Dobby to help him organize things and take care of the animals.
She had been here the past few days, reading the newspapers with them and clearly worried about her master.
Genini stepped out cautiously and approached Snape.
âMaster Snape...â she murmured.
Unlike the always cheerful and innocent Dobby, she had always been afraid of Snape. After all, when Kreacher introduced her as Snape asked the Black family to buy her for him, he said Snape would consume her soul and sheâd live a life full of torture.
He described Severus Snape as a demon in a human body.
She had always feared him and would have run away if she could, but the magic that bound them as master and servant couldnât be broken.
At the same time, she ended up having a surprisingly calm life, merely taking care of the shop, with her master appearing now and then to scare her. She imagined the terror he could bring, and how frightening he was at times, but he never actually did anything to her.
However, when the shop was attacked and the shadows her master had left behind were destroyed, she was tortured by those wizards who hoped she would say anything about Severusâbut she refused, and suffered for it to the very limit.
When she woke up, Miss Rosaria told her that Severus had taken care of her, using a very expensive potion from what she could tellâmore expensive than buying another house-elf.
Now she stood before the master who had saved her, lowering her head in shame.
âIâm glad youâre well... I want you to stay here with Dobby for now. Itâll be safer while I go after those who attacked you.â
Severus said.
âThank you, Master Snape...â Genini said, looking at him with tears in her eyes.
âYouâve always been a very good master.â She said, crying.
âDobby, take care of her.â Severus said as he began to leave, while Dobby spoke with Genini with a cheerful smile.
Severus went to the area where potions were being made, seeing the shadows of various wizards he had killed, working for his franchiseâone no one knew belonged to him.
The shadows worked tirelessly day after day, producing thousands of potions not only for all of Great Britain, but also for a few places outside the country.
He was growing increasingly wealthy, but at the same time, he remembered his latest endeavor.
He would need to visit Gringotts Bank to see if the goblins had completed everything he requested.
âMaster Snape!â
It was then that Dobby came running back into the room with a letter in hand.
âThis just arrived! Itâs for Master!â
The house-elf handed it to Snape, who frowned at the name âVujinâ written on it.
âHow does this guy keep knowing exactly where I am...â
Severus murmured. He had just returned to England, and it seemed like the man had been waiting for it.
He opened the letter and began to read.
âHello Mr. Snape, I know youâre quite wary of me, but I also know you havenât read todayâs paper yet. Iâm afraid there is news about someone with whom you had a strange connection.â
He continued reading the letter, but Severus stopped and pulled out the second sheet in the envelopeâthe newspaper itself.
âLily Evans was kidnapped in search of information about Severus Snape by Death Eaters, as it was discovered that the girl had a connection with him at Hogwarts since childhood.â
Severus read in a cold and dark tone, so much so that even the shadows working nearby stopped, turning to look at their enraged king.
