Ask the Cast!

So, giving this a shot.  I think it'll be fun, and it'll be a great way for me to leanr more about my own characters even ;3  Sometimes, I get asked questions that I've not even thought about, so... here we go!

Maria - "Out people? I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about." Richard - "She got me off the streets a while back. I was in a really bad spot then, making some really terrible choices. She came across me one day, begging for food, and that's when she told me about her shelter. I've been here for a while, and have gotten back on my feet. I stick around to help her do the things she can't."

To Maria: May I ask why you would "out" people to others about them living at a shelter? I understand you having pride in what you do for others, but maybe some tact is necessary? To Richard: How do you know Maria and what is your relationship?

Chester - "I really like the Japanese voices more, so I'd rather watch it subbed over dubbed. I'll settle for a dub if I can't find a sub though. I don't find that I have an issue following the action while reading it either. It started off kind of young for me! Found a channel on tv that showed some right after school was out, and I found myself trying to watch it every day. My love grew as I did."

It's more the concept of asking such a thing to a fictional character rather than asking Spencer specifically which is kind of awkward, especially since it was at least half-serious. Of course, I wouldn't want to become more like Anakin ! And I just noticed that lazy people/callious people/slobs turn off Spencer (even if it's just 1/3, it's too much), I must change for Spencer-Senpai !

Vic Viper

Spencer is hardly the worst fictional character to ask for life advice. If you hit up Anakin Skywalker, now...

Ah okay, well perhaps those longer ones could become short stories? Who knows, but I do hope your next book is just as great, if not better, than your first! I did have a question for Chester as well. This is something that many people have conflicting opinions on, but I wanted to know if you prefer your anime English Subbed or English Dubbed? I myself have no problem keeping up with subtitles and watching the action, but some of my friends would much rather wait for an english release. And I was also rather curious if you grew up with anime or was introduced to it at a later age? Thanks for your time!

Coach - "Oh, I have plenty of work before this. Sadly, a lot of those don't evolve beyond maybe an idea or even just a few pages of writing. There are a few that have gone longer, but it's nothing I've shown anyone. I try to always write down what comes to mind, but man.. there are so many ideas, and just not enough time! I'd say a big influence on my writing would have to be a fantasy series known as "DragonLance". There are so many books in that series too! I really suggest checking them out."

DyneWulf

Well, it's certainly fun to make me think about these kinds of things and how the characters would react to it.

DyneWulf

Asked a question to Spencer, and maybe I should've formulated it in another way. Asking to a fictitious character for the equivalent of a life advice as a second question, with mild RPing, probably wasn't a good idea. =X

Vic Viper

Not sure if anyone asked yet, but I would personally like to know about any previous works that Coach has done before 'The Stone'. The story is pretty interesting so far, and I'd like to see if he had any previous works, rough drafts, or failed attempts of that or any other books in the past. Also he said once that his favorite genre drove him to write it, which was Medieval Fantasy I believe. Was there a book or movie in particular that inspired him or influenced his writing/story? Looking forward to the responses!
